DAY 46 : FLOW to Vice-Mayor Emano , " Mediate the COWD Crisis "

April 22, 2010 : FLOW paraded to City Hall to conduct peaceful mass demonstration in front of the office of Vice - Mayor Dongkoy Emano. The FLOW members felt that the long issues inside the water district involving alleged irregularities by the board of directors can be mediated by Emano. Majority of the sitting board of COWD were appointed by then, mayor Emano himself. He assured FLOW to arrange a meeting together with the COWD Board to iron up issues and problems of the district. FLOW will be consistent to demand for the lifting of the LWUA Intervention and to come up with a concrete solution of resolving the BWSP contract disputes. The COWD Board could start their sincere intentions for this whole mess by defering if not cancel the proposed amendments pushed by the Interim Manager from LWUA wwhich is still disadvantageous to the employees, the district itself and most importantly the consuming public.
