2nd Tubig Caravan & General Assembly

Saturday, April 17,2010 : The FLOW and its strong members conducted the 2nd Tubig Caravan to raise awareness of the residents of Cagayan de Oro on the issues and controversies brought about by the actions of the Board of Directors. The LWUA Intervention and the Bulk Water Supply Contract provisions are among the questionable transactions expeditiously implemented by the the board. FLOW is now on its 43rd day of the peaceful mass protest conducted daily on working days from 12:05 pm -12:45 pm. The sacrifice on extreme and scorching heat continues until arriving at resolutions to LIFT THE LWUA INTERVENTION BY PULLING -OUT THE INTERIM GENERAL MANAGER FROM LWUA, and, ESTABLISH CONCRETE SOLUTIONS TO THE BWSP CONTRACT IRREGULARITIES BY DEFERING IF NOT CANCEL THE PROPOSED AMENDMENTS PUSHED BY THE INTERIM GENERAL MANAGER.
