2nd Tubig Caravan- Ride for Awareness

April 17, 2010, Saturday, 8:30 am : About 150 active and enthusiastic members of FLOW joined the 2nd Tubig Caravan riding on their cars and motorcycles to increase the awareness campaign to all residents on the issues that haunt the water district.FLOW's outcry is to LIFT THE LWUA INTERVENTION by removing the Interim General Manager and give back to COWD its right to manage the district and for the COWD Board to come up with a concrete and genuine solution on the discrepancies of the BWSP Contract. If the Board of Directors are truly for the employees, the district and its concessionaires, they should have to consider defering if not cancel the proposed amendments, prematurely and irresponsibly sought for approval by Engr. Proceso B. Pag-ong, the Interim General Manager from LWUA without applying the brakes despite receipt and knowledge of the COA report on irregularities of said contract.
